World's Hottest Athlete Contest is down to the Elite Eight (VIDEO)

From 64 to 32.
From 32 to 16.
And now 16 to the Elite 8.

Gina Carano, Ana Ivanovic, Jennifer Barretta, Lolo Jones...these women couldn't get past the Sweet 16!  Can you imagine the level of talent in the Elite Eight?

Winners were chosen based on the popular vote, InGameNow’s vote and Jimmy Trania of Sports Illustrated’s vote.

With 3 rounds still left to be decided, we’ve already seen incredibly closes matchups in the popular voting. Heather Mitts BARELY squeaked past Jennifer Baretta in the popular vote 51-49%. Jimmy & the IGN staff were split, so Mitts got a push from the readers. Jimmy & IGN also split over Lokelani McMichael and the Feres Twins doubleteam, but once again the viewers barely chose the twins 55-45%.

Watch the smokin' hot video and check out all of the women of the Elite 8 on the click through!
