It is a huge feat to represent your country in competition. Samantha Saeger did just that. As an accomplished orienteer from Boston, Saeger found herself in Hungary last week, competing in the World Orienteering Championships.

Long Distance Qualifier

Qualifiers — August 17
Finals — August 23

US Team member Samantha Saeger has qualified for the Long Final race, finishing 14th in her heat, 8:36 behind Minna Kauppi of Finland. (Louise Oram of Canada finished 21/29 in the same heat.) Good luck to you in the final, Samantha!
