Calling All Pro Wrestling & MMA Writers: Cageside Seats is looking for new posters

I don't wanna do a wholesale lift of Kelvin's similar post with regards to MMA4Real, but most of the general ideas apply. Cageside Seats is SBN's pro wrestling/MMA for wrestling fans/pro wrestling for MMA fans blog. We need more writers to cover pro wrestling and MMA. It's fine if you'd rather write about one or the other, but if you wanna write about both, that's even better. If you wanna write more about MMA, it's preferable if you've been a wrestling fan at some point, as we'd like to have the "wrestling perspective" of the news when possible, but it's not a must. Wrestling-wise, we definitely need recappers for the main TV shows (WWE Raw, Smackdown, and NXT, plus TNA Impact. ROH on HDNet and WWE Superstars, as well as the indy shows on regional sports networks and America One would be great, too, but aren't as high a priority.), so a sample recap would be a good start, though it doesn't have to be the only thing you write about. It's a bonus if you write like the opposite of Todd Martin. Anything about Brock Lesnar, whether it's about UFC or old WWE stuff, is always good. Keeping on top of the more obscure but interesting news items would be great. Basically, keep an eye on what we've been doing and help us do more of it. Being part of SBN, this is a potentially great opportunity if you want to write about this stuff. Just look at the growth of Bloody Elbow et al.

Now, back to lifting Kelvin's post (sorry Kelvin, it's easier this way):

1. Register as a member of Cageside Seats.

2. Begin posting FanShots and most importantly, FanPosts. There is a 75 word minimum to FanPosts, but don't go crazy with a 5 page essay or anything. If your post is good and relevant, we'll promote it to the front page.

3. Email me (davidbix+cagesideseats@gmail.com) with your screen name to tell me you are interested so I'll know who's interested in joining us. Also, so I can recognize the fanpost/fanshots you are putting up.

4. I'll need you to post consistently for about 2 weeks or so. This'll give me an idea of what you bring to the table.

Show us what you've got!
