Uncommon Suvivor 23: Failure to Appear
The recording of the aftershow failed to appear on my recording apparatus. As a a result, your normally scheduled recap will be delayed by a few hours until it can be acquired and absorbed for recapurature. Apologies to the four of you who were counting on it. The comments section is yours to spoil to your heart's content.

Awesome recap
Still don’t understand why she was voted the winner
Don't hate the game, hate the nerds!
Because Albert did nothing
and the jury was too bitter to vote for the Puppetmaster….plus Sophie, at least, was able to win some individual immunity challenges.
"Lord, beer me strength."
Agree on Albert
But without fearless leader Coach, I don’t think either Sophie or Albert make it anywhere near the final. Coach did a lot of what Boston Rob did last season…he was the glue of the tribe (at least what was aired on tv) and knew how to work everyone into a cohesive unit.
Sophie to me was a slightly improved version of a coat tail rider.

Looks like a lot was left out
— Wade wasn’t really the mastermind behind all the strategic movies. So says Destrade, who claims that he and winner Clarke were the ones controlling the game the whole time. “We spoon-fed him the strategy, and he was just the mouthpiece for it,” Destrade says.

I imagine a lot was left out
I was somewhat confused by all the character hate towards Sophie….never really came across as arrogant or bratty, to me.
"Lord, beer me strength."
Reunion Ozzie
Was super annoying. I like how that kid asked, “how do you breath underwater for 3-4 minutes and climb all those trees”? and Ozzie just responds with a speech from Batman, ‘you have to fall to learn how to get back up again’
Great, now some kid is gonna drown because Ozzie said you have to fail at holding your breath to learn how to hold your breath
