How much money do competitive eaters make?

According to Eat Feat's listing of the top moneymakers from 2007... not much. Granted, while Joey Chestnut's $63k is nothing to sneeze at, it's not something that I'm giving up the Uncommon Sportsjob for. Although, if you take into account the amount of free food that he probably took in last year, he's a Vanderbilt.
